Why Choose Laura as Your Jacksonville Family Photographer?
Any time is the right time! But if you want specific guidance: Jacksonville's most beautiful portrait light falls between October and April, when temperatures are comfortable and the golden hour is long and soft. That said, lush summer greens and warm coastal light have their own kind of magic too.
Fall sessions book quickly for holiday card portraits, so if you're hoping for a November or December October/November session, I recommend reaching out by May at the latest. For spring sessions, March and April fill up fast as well. The best advice I can give is to book early, popular dates go within days!

We move at your family's pace, take breaks when needed, and I always capture the candid, in-between moments that end up being the most treasured images anyway. Some of the most beautiful photos happen when everything goes "off script."

Most family portrait sessions run between 60 and 90 minutes. Extended family sessions may run slightly longer. I never rush the experience, the goal is for you to feel relaxed and unhurried so that genuine moments can unfold naturally.
How many photos will we receive from our family portrait session?
The number of finished images varies by the collection you choose. Most family portrait collections include between 20 and 50+ fully edited images. Each one is hand-edited with care, I never deliver quantity over quality. Every image in your gallery will be one you love.
How long does it take to receive our family photos?
You will come in for your photo reveal and ordering appointment 1-2 weeks after your session.

How far in advance should I book a family photographer in Jacksonville?
